Fabio Viale was born in Cuneo, Italy, in 1975. He lives and works in Turin. Viale is a sculptor who has made his mark on the international scene with marble works that are so compelling that they become real events. In 2002, he realised ‘Ahgalla’, a marble boat that can not only float, but also transport people with the help of an outboard motor; it was presented in Carrara, Turin, Rome, Milan, Venice, St. Petersburg and
Moscow.
Viale has had numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad curated by the most accredited art critics, in the most important galleries, fairs and contemporary art museums. He is an artist of interest to numerous important private and public collections, such as the Museo del Novecento in Milan or the Quirinale in Rome.
